Members of the Saskatchewan Handicapped Farmers Association, along with people from Saskatchewan Abilities Council and the Canadian Paraplegic Association, helped make the AJILity Lift more user friendly by offering valuable advice and critical analysis from a user’s perspective. Feedback for recent modifications was received from present and past users, some of which have been using the original Freedom Lift for up to 15 years.

Professionally designed and constructed using every safety factor currently recommended by C.S.A. Standards relating to similar products, such as manlifts, wheelchair lifts, cranes, etc. The Saskatchewan Research Council conducted a finite element analysis on the AJILity Lift’s major structural components and the National Research Council made significant contributions during research and development.

Controlled by the operator using either of the two sets of controls, without assistance from anyone else. One set is permanently mounted on the wheelchair platform. The other is a radio remote control carried by the lift user.

While the AJILity LIft was originally designed for use by disabled farmers, the possibilities for use by other segments of the population are almost unlimited. With respect to the lift’s agricultural uses, it provides access to all known makes and models of self-propelled farm machines. That means the disabled farmer needs to purchase just ONE lift for use with ALL machinery. It also means the lift will require no alterations, should the farmer consider purchasing new farm equipment.

AJILity Lift will fit all makes and models of standard 1/2-ton and 3/4-ton pickup trucks and is sold completely assembled to enable easy movement when a new truck is purchased.
The unit cannot fit Crew Cab trucks as a minimum of 6 foot box is required.

All moving parts on the AJILity Lift have been designed for long-term service, provided proper care & maintenance routines are followed.
